Cloud9 Tempest

Cloud9 Tempest

Cloud9 Tempest is a cometitive gaming Team with a win ratio of 48.84 % over 43 LoL games.

The members of Cloud 9 Tempest got their start together as a team in November of 2013 when Gold Gaming LA decided to dissolve their roster in the middle of a losing season. From the wreckage of ggLA’s collapse, The Walking Zed emerged ready to prove themselves. TWZ went on to compete in the Spring Promotion Tournament, hoping for a shot at the 2014 North American LCS. But after a tense 5 game series against Team Coast, The Walking Zed fell 2 to 3. Not about to let their history hold them back, TWZ dusted themselves off, found new sponsorship in Cloud 9 HyperX, changed their name to Cloud 9 Tempest, and prepared for the 2014 North American Challenger Series. Performing outstandingly well, Tempest went all the way to the 2014 Summer Promotion Tournament. Though they were unsuccessful, falling to Evil Geniuses 3-1, they have a good chance at promotion for the followin split as they return to the Challenger Series.
